About
busy next week helps people turn "we should go somewhere" into time somewhere else that feels fully lived and worth remembering.
Who it's for
Mostly people planning a trip with a partner or family, though a lot of it works just as well solo or with friends. The common thread isn't a demographic — it's what you want out of a few days away: a trip that feels special but stays manageable, a couple of things worth going out of your way for, good places to eat and stay, and enough structure that you're not planning it in the car.
What we publish
Guides that do one job each — help you picture a trip, choose between options, plan a real sequence of days, decide what's worth booking, or avoid a mistake that would spoil it. And destination pages that cover where to base, when to go, and what actually catches people out.
We're selective rather than exhaustive. A list of forty things to do in a place is easy to write and nearly useless to plan from.
What we're not
- A feed of places that don't quite look real.
- An endurance or points-and-miles account.
- A luxury-only fantasy, or a cheapest-at-any-cost one.
- A source of false certainty about prices, weather, foliage, or availability.
The standard
Every guide names the date its details were checked and lists where its facts came from. Popular places are fine when they're genuinely worth it, and we'll tell you when they aren't. How we research spells out the method, and how we make money covers the commercial side.
